> #description:: Some members of the HSG Impact Scholar Community participated in the course [Ethics, Responsibility & Sustainability (ERS) in Research and the PhD Journey](https://tools.unisg.ch/handlers/Public/CourseInformationSheet.ashx/semester/HS22/eventnumber/10,161,1.00.pdf) last semester. One exercise we found quite meaningful was an ERS reflection session around the following questions:
_1. Where do I come from? How did I end up here? What drives me?_
_2. Why did I pick my PhD topic?_
_3. Which ERS topics are relevant for my research?_
_4. How can I make an impact in practice?_
_5. What do I need from my peers?_
_6. How do I position myself within my field of research?_
In small groups of 3-5 people there was a short but deep conversation around these questions for 10-15 minutes for each person.
We thought that these kinds of ERS reflection sessions might be an interesting practice to bring to the community.
We are organizing a protoype at the end of April and are interested in your feedback on whether you would be interested in additional, regular sessions once or twice a semester.
